One of America’s most fabulous LGBTQ beach parties is returning to Miami. We have details

On vacation? In town to see your childhood pals? Or just need something fun to do during the long Thanksgiving Day weekend?

The Urge Miami Festival, a LGBTQ+ fave, kicks off 10 p.m. Friday with a party at M2 nightclub in Miami Beach. Organized by Spain-based promoter Matinee, the party will feature such DJs as Orel Sabag, Jerac and Ivan Gomez and rage until the wee hours. Guests are encouraged to wear all-white.

The festivities continue at 2 p.m. Saturday for the Royal Palm South Beach pool party, presented by Mexico’s “premiere” party producer, ARENA. “Expect plenty of splish-splash fun and gorgeous men in skimpy bikinis,” promises the invite.

Later that night, throw it back to the ‘80s with a revival theme party at the recently remodeled MAD Live, in Wynwood. Try to find those Madonna-era rubber bracelets in the back of your drawer.

The Sunday Beach Party on the sands of South Beach, at 20th Street and Collins Avenue, will close out the epic weekend with a 1960s Mod vibe. Expect music, interactive activities, and fireworks (literally).

“Our beach party is one of America’s biggest LGBTQ beach parties and attracts fans from all over the world,” says Urge producer Hilton Wolman. “It is an experience in itself!”

Better grab a colada or two for that night when the closing party, headed up by Grammy winning DJ Roger Sanchez, circles back at M2. The theme is avant-garde, and guests are encouraged to arrive in yellow.
