One of America's best ice cream parlors is coming to Arizona. Here's a peek at the menu

A Florida-based fantasy land "ice cream utopia," Sloan's, is debuting in Arizona with a location in Gilbert. Since opening in 1999 in West Palm Beach, the shop has expanded to 10 locations around the world. The East Valley shop will be the 11th Sloan's, a chain that USA TODAY named one of the 10 best ice cream shops in the country.

Founded by Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef Sloan Kamenstein, the shops are sweet treat wonderlands with bright pink walls, swirl-back bistro chairs, twinkling chandeliers, ceilings covered in hand-painted angels and candy wreaths, model trains chugging around and see-through bathroom doors that fog as soon as the customers lock the door.

What is Sloan's ice cream shop famous for?

Waffle cones are made fresh daily. Patrons can indulge in desserts like ice cream, over-the-top sundaes, banana splits, decadent candied apples and bomboloni, which are Italian doughnuts filled with ice cream and served with different toppings. There's more: candies, cookies and milkshakes galore.

Sloan's has been featured on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and "The World According to Jeff Goldblum." And celebrities like the Kardashians, Megan Fox, Tom Holland and Sylvester Stallone have been spotted at the ice cream parlor.
