Central Ohio task force seeking second Columbus suspect in human trafficking of a juvenile
Central Ohio law enforcement arrested one suspect and are asking for the public’s help in locating another who is at-large after the two were indicted last month on charges related to human trafficking of a juvenile.
In August, a Franklin County grand jury indicted David Lee Au, 36, and Josclyn Sellers, 37, both of Columbus, on felony charges of human trafficking, compelling prostitution and promoting prostitution, according to a release.
The Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force received tips from the National Human Trafficking Hotline and the Columbus Division of Police in January, which triggered the investigation into the two, a release said.
Through the course of the investigation, law enforcement identified a juvenile trafficking victim.
Au was arrested by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Columbus police, but Sellers has not been taken into custody yet.
