From Good Housekeeping

Whenever I talk to people about my job (I test products in the Good Housekeeping Institute’s Textiles Lab), they say: “You must have the best stuff in your home!” While that’s not always true – I often try out the good and the bad – it’s certainly the case when it comes to my bath towels.

The Everplush Diamond Jacquard Bath Towel is unlike anything else on the market. When we evaluated it in our last bath towel test, I was blown away when it got perfect scores in both our absorbency and quick-drying tests. Inside the loops, there's a unique construction with microfiber to make the towel quick-drying, but the outside is all cotton so it’s also soft and absorbent.

Most towels are either plush and absorbent but take forever to dry, or they’re quick-drying but don’t absorb fluid as well and don’t feel as soft. When these towels checked both boxes effortlessly, I knew I had to get them for my own home.

I’ve been using the towel for over a year and I couldn’t be happier with it. I love the way it feels: it’s soft, yet not too dense or heavy like some of the super plush towels on the market. On top of that, it quickly soaks up water so it can dry you off right when you get out of the shower. And when it comes to the quick-drying capabilities, it not only dries fast on the towel rack, but it also uses less time in the dryer when I clean it.

Is the Everplush bath towel worth it?

While it’s not exactly cheap, it’s definitely more affordable than other luxury towels we’ve tested, which can cost over $40 each. You can buy it individually, as a set of two bath towels, or as a larger set that includes the hand towels and face towels. The brand also sells other items with the same fabric, like a hair towel and a bath wrap. I use both of these at home and not surprisingly, I swear by them as well.

I’m constantly getting asked for recommendations for textile products like sheets and towels, and I always say that the Everplush bath towel was a winner in our test and it happens to be my personal favorite at home. I’ve had several people come back to me after they've tried it themselves and rave about how it’s the best towel they’ve ever used. In all honesty, I’m glad I’m not the only one geeking out over a bath towel.
