One adult was transported to St. David's South Austin Medical Center with critical injuries early Sunday morning after a vehicle crashed into a tree in Del Valle, Austin-Travis County EMS reported.
Austin-Travis County EMS first responded to the collision in the 13400 block of Pearce Lane about 6 a.m. EMS officials said on Twitter that they were alerted about a possible death at the scene and performed CPR and other "life saving interventions" upon arrival.
One unidentified patient was taken to St. David's South Austin Medical Center with "critical life-threatening injuries".
Closures in the area were expected as investigators processed the scene, EMS said at around 7 a.m.
