One dead following two-vehicle crash in Grant-Valkaria, Florida Highway Patrol reports
Florida Highway Patrol troopers were at the site of a deadly two-vehicle crash in Grant-Valkaria Wednesday morning.
The crash happened about 8 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. 1 and Valkaria Road.
A 59-year-old Malabar woman died, and a 39-year-old Sebastian woman had minor injuries, acording to FHP. An investigation is ongoing.
Investigators said the Malabar woman, driving a 2009 Audi was stopped on eastboud Valkaria Road at a stop sign and the Sebastian woman, driving a 2021 Audi, was heading south on U.S.1
The Malabar woman attempted to turn left onto U.S. 1 to head north, driving into the direct path of the Sebastian woman, who struck the left side of the Malabar woman's car.
FHP did not identify the people involved.
