Passenger dead, driver critically injured after solo car crash in North Sacramento

(FOX40.COM) — One man has died and another man was left in critical condition after a single-car crash in North Sacramento.

Police said that two people were inside of the white Honda. The driver has been taken to the hospital for treatment of critical injuries while the passenger was declared dead at the scene.

According to Sacramento Police, the crash happened just after 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of Marysville Boulevard and Los Robles Boulevard.

Police added that Marysville Boulevard, from Rosalind Street to Los Robles Boulevard, is currently closed.

Images taken by a FOX40 News member show the front of a white car rammed into a pole while the car’s trunk is open.
