One dead, three injured in Farmington crash

One person was killed and three others injured in a crash Thursday in Farmington.

According to New York State Police, a van traveling south drove through a stop sign into the path of a westbound pickup at the intersection of County Route 41 and Payne Road.

Investigators said the three occupants of the pickup were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the driver has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
