One dead after Thursday car crash near Plainview

One person died in a crash crash on Thursday afternoon outside of Plainview, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Jerry Alan Cox was driving eastbound on Country Road 95 when his 2004 Honda Foreman went into a side skid. The car rolled over and ejected Cox from the vehicle.

Cox was pronounced dead on the scene.
