FORT PIERCE — One person died after a Sunday traffic crash west of U.S. 1 in Fort Pierce, a police spokesperson said Monday.

The 5:55 p.m. incident happened as one vehicle traveled north on South 12th Street and crashed with a vehicle driving west on Georgia Avenue, April Lee, police spokesperson, said Monday.

One of the drivers died, she said.
