One dead after wreck in Lacey's Springs

Oct. 31—A Lacey's Springs man died in a Saturday night wreck on Alabama 36, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The victim, Christopher T. Hill, 53, was not wearing a seatbelt when his 2002 Dodge Ram struck a ditch and overturned, according to ALEA, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck happened on Alabama 36 East at Sage Road in Lacey's Spring and briefly closed down both lanes of Alabama 36.

ALEA is investigating the accident.
