Liam Payne 'jumped on by three bouncers' in fiery bar brawl
Liam Payne had to be held back by a group of people after he alleges he was ‘jumped on by three bouncers’ outside a US bar.
The 26-year-old former One Direction star has been pictured in a fiery exchange with a man while on a night out with his girlfriend, Maya Henry, in Texas.
According the The Sun, the Strip That Down singer was refused entry into Silver Fox club and got into an altercation with the bouncers.
Liam looks flustered in the snaps, which show a woman trying to grab the star around the waist, perhaps in an effort to remove him from the escalating situation.
The singer later took to his Instagram account to vent over the experience, later deleting a story which read: “Three of your bouncers just jump me for no reason whilst I was grabbing my ID. I took pics of the whole thing look forward to seeing you in court a******s”.
It’s been a tumultuous few years for Liam, after announcing in July 2018 that he was splitting with partner Cheryl Cole after three years together.
The pair welcomed baby son Bear into the world together in 2017 and Liam has previously opened up about the struggles of parenthood.
"Becoming a dad at such a young age, it's such a difficult thing and I think I built fatherhood up so much in my head that it kind of messed me up to start with,” Liam said in the documentary Ant Middleton and Liam Payne: Straight Talking.
“I started in a bad place with it. I think it spooked me out early on, and I was just worried I would not be enough to look after the both of them,” he added.
"They're so important to me — Cheryl as well. She's one of the most, if not the most, important people in my life. I'm lucky I have someone who understands what I'm going through.”
Liam and Cheryl are now said to be on great terms and the former boyband member has moved on with 19-year-old model, Maya Henry.
Maya, who hails from Texas, hit headlines when she was 15 after her family threw her a multi-million dollar birthday party, complete with performances by Pittbull and Nicki Minaj.
