One Direction's Liam admits he "absolutely hated" bandmate Louis
One Direction star Liam Payne has said that he and fellow bandmate Louis Tomlinson "absolutely hated each other" while in the group.
While the pair seem all sorts of friendly now - even appearing on Gogglebox together - it seems that wasn't the case in those days of boyband stardom.
"When we were in the band it kind of felt like, because he was the oldest and because I'd been singing for quite a bit of time we both got put in a weird position," Liam said on Hits Radio Breakfast.
"He was wanting to be the leader and I was doing my thing and wanted to. So at first we didn't get on at all. We absolutely hated each other, it was so funny. Really bad. We hid it well."
One bandmate he hasn't heard much from is Harry Styles, though Liam remained optimistic about the idea of a full band reunion at some point.
"I haven't seen or heard from Harry in some time now, which is fine, everyone needs their space," he said on Nova 96.9's Fitzy & Wippa.
"At the same time, would I like to get back together? Yeah, definitely. Whether or not we're too different now I don't really know, I don't see why there is no common path we can't kind of meet on to figure out what we had once."
He continued: "I don't see why there is any reason why we can't but if that's the way he [Harry] feels, that's kind of up to him really."
For his part, Harry said recently that he would be up for a reunion, but only if it was for the "right reasons".
