One dog injured after U-Haul crashes into the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association

CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) — The Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association is in a state of emergency after a U-Haul hit the side of their building.

According to a Facebook post made by the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association, a U-Haul drove into the side of their building and taking out the wall. They stated that only one dog ended up with an injured leg in the incident.

The Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association stated that the U-Haul is the only support for that side of the building, causing a massive safety hazard for the animals.

Due to the incident, the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association is closed to visitors until further notice, however, they are searching for as many fosters as they can to ensure the safety of the animals in their care.
