One flown to hospital after Montevue Lane crash

Dec. 4—A driver was flown to an area trauma center following a crash in Frederick on Saturday afternoon, police said.

The two-vehicle crash occurred in the 200 block of Montevue Lane shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday.

The extent of the driver's injuries was unknown Saturday evening, said Allen Etzler, a spokesman for the Frederick Police Department.

Two people in the other vehicle were taken to Frederick Health Hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.

The crash was still under investigation Saturday evening, with no further information available about the cause or other details, Etzler wrote in a text message.
