One hospitalized after head-on semi crash in eastern Kansas

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A North Carolina man was hospitalized in suspected serious condition after a head-on collision with a semi in Linn County Saturday morning.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 8:48 a.m. on U.S. Highway 69 just south of Kansas Highway 52.

Teenager killed after shooting in east Wichita

The North Carolina man was traveling south on Highway 69 in the northbound lane when he hit the semi head-on.

The man was rushed to a hospital with potentially serious injuries. The driver of the semi was not injured.
