Former Bucs wide receiver Vincent Jackson was found dead in a Brandon hotel room Monday morning.

Jackson, 38, played for San Diego the first seven years of his career, starting in 2005 as a second-round draft pick out of Northern Colorado. In 2012, he signed as a free agent with the Bucs and played in Tampa Bay for five seasons.

In 155 games, Jackson tallied 9,080 receiving yards (16.8 yards per reception with 57 touchdowns). He was a three-time Pro Bowler (2009, 2011 and 2012).

Off the field, Jackson was known for his charity work with his personal foundation, Jackson in Action, which helped provide support to military families focusing on the children in those families.
