One injured in Grand Forks County single vehicle crash

Oct. 27—GRAND FORKS — One person was hospitalized following a crash in rural Grand Forks County on Thursday morning.

At 10:50 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, a single-vehicle crash occurred 4 miles southwest of Ardoch, North Dakota.

According to a press release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 1996 GMC Sierra was northbound on 26th St NE when it entered the west ditch and hit a tree.

The driver, a 59-year-old male from Gilby, North Dakota, was pinned in the vehicle and required extrication.

He was transported by ambulance to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks where he is being treated for serious injuries, the release says.

The crash remains under investigation.
