One injured in shooting Friday afternoon in area of Cedar Street, Miller Road

LANSING − Police were investigating a shooting that injured a person injured Friday afternoon on the city's south side.

The incident happened about 1:50 p.m. in the area of Cedar Street and Miller Road.

Officers found a person with two gunshot wounds on Cedar Street at Northrup Street, Lansing Police Public Information Director Jordan Gulkis said in an email. The victim was in stable condition, she said.

Callers reported that someone in a vehicle fired rounds at another vehicle, and "multiple businesses were also shot at," Gulkis said.

No other details were available.
