One man killed, another shot in separate shooting incidents Monday in Baltimore

A 43-year-old man was killed in a South Baltimore shooting Monday night and another man was injured in a separate shooting, police said.

Baltimore Police said they were called to the 1100 block of Washington Blvd. for a ShotSpotter alert just before 7 p.m.

When officers arrived in the Washington Village/Pigtown neighborhood and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was transported to an area hospital where he later died, police said.

Shortly before being called to South Baltimore, officers were called to East Baltimore to the 900 block of E. Eager St.

Once police arrived in the Johnston Square neighborhood, they found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said the man was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.
