One NH woman dead in New Mexico crash; another flown to the hospital

Dec. 12—A 52-year-old New Hampshire woman was killed in a single-car crash in Ranchos De Taos, New Mexico, last Friday while visiting family, according to the Taos County Sheriff's Office.

The car rolled over in the early morning hours, according to a news release.

Gina Rowena Weathers, along with her brother, Ojeike Keiko Whon, 47, of San Francisco, died in the crash. Another sibling, Geoanna Bluebird Bolduc, also from New Hampshire, was flown to the University of New Mexico Trauma Center, in Albuquerque, for treatment of her injuries.

Investigators are still working to determine who was driving the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.

High speed and no seatbelts are considered contributing factors in the two deaths, according to the news release.
