Unfortunately Fisher suffered an injury in the season opener against Florida State and has yet to return to the field. Fisher’s injury opened up a spot on the offensive line and after Brian Kelly rotating tackles to find the right combination up front, they’ve recently settle in on another true freshman, Joe Alt. The former tight end was viewed as a bit of a project, but you wouldn’t say that now after ESPN has named (insider) Alt to their mid-season true freshman All-American team.
