One-Year-Old Infant Accidentally Locked in Car Makes Clever Escape

A clever infant successfully navigated her way out of a locked car after being accidentally locked in by her grandmother in Greenwood, South Carolina, in late November.

Aprianna Lukie recorded and posted the video of her one-year-old daughter Z’Naria on TikTok.

Z’Naria is seen in the video climbing out of her car seat and into the front of the car with a tumble to open the door after being locked inside with the keys still in the ignition.

Lukie told Storyful that Z’Naria was accidentally locked in the car by her grandmother, who panicked once she realized what had happened.

“Z’Naria wasn’t properly strapped in, so I had faith that she could get out of her seat and open the door for us,” Lukie said.

Fortunately, Lukie said the incident didn’t faze her daughter whatsoever and she was out of the car within 10 minutes. Credit: Aprianna Lukie via Storyful
