One person in critical condition after two-vehicle crash in Whitehall

A driver is in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash in Whitehall late Friday morning.

According to Whitehall Police, police and fire crews responded to the 5000 block of Brownsville Road at 11:41 a.m.

One of the drivers was in cardiac arrest when units arrived on scene.

First responders performed CPR on the driver and utilized an AED, and the driver was taken to a local hospital. He is said to be in critical condition.

The second driver was also taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

Police said Brownsville Road was closed for hours while police investigated the cause of the accident.
