One person dead after crash near MacArthur and Seneca in south Wichita, dispatch says

One person is dead after a crash in south Wichita on Sunday afternoon, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor confirmed.

A call came in at about 4:04 p.m. about a collision between a pickup truck and a motorcycle in the 3800 block of south Seneca, near MacArthur. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead, the supervisor said by phone Sunday evening. Their name, city of residence and gender were not immediately released.

It’s unclear whether the driver of the pickup truck suffered any injuries.

Wichita police did not immediately respond to an inquiry from The Eagle seeking details about what happened.
