One person injured after fight turns into a shooting
Reports state that at approximately 2 a.m., the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a fight that broke out on the corner of 6500 Beach Blvd and Burkholder.

When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old female with a gunshot wound to one of her hands.

She was taken to a local hospital where she is being treated for a non-life threatening injury. Reports state that she is expected to make a full recovery.

At this time, JSO has no witnesses or people in custody; but they are interviewing the victim to gather more information.
