‘Like a Black Mirror episode’: Video of Kelly Clarkson Show viewers dancing to Vin Diesel song branded ‘sad and eerie’
Twitter users have compared an “eerie” viral clip from Kelly Clarkson’s talk show to an episode of Black Mirror.
To celebrate the release of Vin Diesel’s debut single “Feel Like I Do”, viewers of The Kelly Clarkson Show sent in clips of themselves dancing at home to the Fast and Furious star’s new song.
The clips were then broadcast into the studio on individual screens, with the audience seen awkwardly dancing alone.
The video was shared widely on Twitter, after a user wrote: “The virtual Kelly Clarkson Show audience members awkwardly dancing to Vin Diesel's new song is the funniest thing I've seen in weeks.”
“This is somehow worse than the worst Fast and Furious,” one commenter replied, while another compared the audience to a game of Guess Who?.
A number of social media users complained the scene to something out of dystopian sci-fi drama Black Mirror, with one viewer writing: “For anyone disappointed about no new Black Mirror this year, The Kelly Clarkson Show has you covered.”
“Kelly Clarkson’s virtual talk show audience dancing to Vin Diesel’s new single is one of the saddest and eeriest things I’ve ever seen,” another tweeted.
