Fans of “One Tree Hill” now have a chance to buy one of the more prominent homes that was featured on the long running television show.

The only catch is they’ll need $5 million.

The home at 2709 Middle Sound Loop Rd. in Wilmington is currently on the market for $4,995,000. The 5 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom home is more than 7,000 sq. ft. and is located on Howe Creek with a dock and easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway.

The waterfront home at 2709 Middle Sound Loop Rd. in Wilmington was featured for several seasons on the show and is currently on the market for $4,995,000.

Fans will know the property as the home of Nathan and Haley Scott for the last five seasons of the show. Nathan Scott was played by James Lafferty and Haley James Scott by Bethany Joy Galeotti.

The popular television show ran from 2003-2012 on the WB and CW networks and included 187 episodes. It has seen a rebirth in recent years with new fans discovering it though various streaming options.

The show is known for its rapid fan base and the many visible Wilmington locations that were featured throughout its nine seasons. Wilmington has also hosted several One Tree Hill conventions over the years that have brought in thousands of fans.

The home has also been featured on various One Tree Hill websites that highlight the filming locations throughout the Wilmington area. Due to its private setting the house is one of the more difficult locations for fans to get a close view.

Garrett Williams of Keller Williams is the listing agent on the home. Williams said the current owners have lived there since 2011 and have recently completed an extensive two-year renovation.

The Mediterranean-inspired home is more than 7,000 sq. ft. with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. It sits on over an acre of land along Howe Creek and features a pool and hot tub. The home also has access to a dock and is a very short boat ride from the Intracoastal Waterway.
