One worker fatally stabs another during fight in Brooklyn supermarket

A fight between workers in a Brooklyn supermarket left one man dead and the other in handcuffs Monday afternoon.

The argument broke out inside the Navruz Supermarket on McDonald Ave. by Avenue O in Midwood about 1:50 p.m.

The suspect, 30, who lists the basement of the supermarket as his address, stabbed Ulugbek Gilasov, 38, in the chest, a police spokesman said. The spokesman couldn’t say why the two quarreled.

Medics rushed Gilasov to Maimonides Medical Center, but he couldn’t be saved.

Police took the suspect into custody. Charges against him were pending.

Cops have not yet released the suspect’s name.
