Oneida County Board of Elections announce registration deadline for June primaries

The Oneida County Board of Elections is reminding voters of an upcoming voter registration deadline for the late June primary election.

According to a statement from the board, potential voters have until Friday, June 3 to register to vote in the Tuesday, June 28 primary.

All Oneida County voters registered in the Democratic Party or Republican Party will be eligible to vote in a primary election along with some Conservative Party voters.

A variety of offices will appear on each party’s ballot including governor, lieutenant governor,and county committee party positions, the board said.

Voters can check the Oneida County Board of Elections’ website (ocgovboe.net) for more information on the contests that will be on their ballot and to view sample ballots.

Individuals unsure whether they are registered, who want to verify their current information on file, or find out where to vote, may find this information using the State Board of Elections’ Voter Look-Up Tool at voterlookup.elections.ny.gov, or contact the Oneida County Board of Elections at 315-798-5765.

Eligible individuals can register to vote or update their information by completing a voter registration form in-person, by mail, or online. New registrations must be completed by Friday, June 3 and changes of address must be received by Wednesday, June 8.

Voters can call the Board of Elections to request a registration form be mailed to them or they can print a registration form from this link: https://www.elections.ny.gov/NYSBOE/download/voting/voteregform-eng-fillable.pdf.  

Voter registration forms that are mailed to the Board must be postmarked by Friday, June 3 and received by the Oneida County Board of Elections no later than June 8 to be valid for the upcoming Primary Election.
