'Only a matter of time': Two dead following fatal vehicle crash along Monroe Street

A fatal crash on Sunday involving a single vehicle along Monroe Street and Interstate-10 has left two dead.

According to investigators, one passenger "succumbed to their injuries" on the scene, while the driver was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Tallahassee Police Department posted about the accident to their Facebook, where the father of the driver, Mike Foor, commented under the post identifying the victims as his son and his son's girlfriend.

"This was my son and his girlfriend. The doctors have said that they have done everything that they can for him and that it's only a matter of time," said Foor in his comment.

TPD updated the post about the crash on Monday saying that Foor's son died from his injuries.

"This remains an ongoing investigation, however, no additional updates will be provided," said TPD in their Facebook post about the crash.
