Only Murders in the Building is the smart true crime comedy take we never knew we needed. Season one provided *all* the laughs thanks to a stellar cast comprised of Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short - and fans have been thrilled to discover that a season two is officially on the way!

What's more, there's not long to wait either. Here's everything you need to know about Only Murders in the Building season two, including the release date, cast, trailer and more.

Is there an Only Murders in the Building season two trailer?

There is indeed! Hulu has dropped a teaser trailer for the series, revealing more details on the season two plot. Exciting stuff!

In the minute-long video, we see Mabel, Charles and Oliver caught up in a media frenzy as the trio find themselves framed for a murder at the Arconia. They then set out on a mission to uncover the real killer, and it turns out there are more secrets in the Arconia than we thought. Have a watch here:

The new teaser trailer also offers up our first look at new cast member Amy Schumer in character, while we've got our second glimpse at Cara Delevingne in the series - with the actress reportedly starring as Selena's character Mabel's love interest.

Sharing a synopsis for the series in the video description, Hulu wrote, "Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver & Mabel race to unmask her killer." Sounds tense.

The streaming platform previously dropped a teaser date announcement for S2, showing Selena, Steve and Martin reprising their roles as residents of the Arconia, primed to solve more murders. The announcement also confirmed season two's Hulu air date, with the show dropping on the platform on 28th June 2022.

When will Only Murders in the Building season two be released?

As the teaser trailer and date announcement above confirmed, Only Murders in the Building season two will be coming to Hulu on 28th June 2022 - that's just over a month away! As with most Hulu shows, the series will be available to watch in the UK on Disney+.

Season one came to Disney+ in the UK the day after it dropped on Hulu in the US - so we're expecting Only Murders season two to be available on Disney+ either on or very soon after 28th June. Exciting!

Who will star in Only Murders in the Building season two?

Of course, the series wouldn't be the same without it's leading iconic trio. Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short will be reprising their roles as Mabel, Charles and Oliver. Hooray!

Back in December 2021, Variety revealed that Cara Delevingne would be joining the series as new character Alice, who will reportedly feature as Mabel's love interest. Vanity Fair have reported that Alice is "an art-gallery owner of her own generation who puts Mabel in touch with a side of herself she’s been somewhat neglecting since the show began."

The teaser trailer gave us our first look at Cara in character, and we can't wait to see her join the cast. Vanity Fair have also revealed that Amy Schumer will star as a new resident of the Arconia so, yep, it really does keep getting better and better.

What will Only Murders in the Building season two be about?

Season two picks back up with Mabel, Charles and Oliver - three true crime enthusiasts who we saw starting a podcast as they work to solve the mystery of a murder in their apartment building. But there are more twists on the way. Hulu's official synopsis for season two reads:

"Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver and Mabel race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue—the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny's homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbours who all think they committed murder."

Intriguing.

Season two, we're ready.
