Only one Daytona Beach restaurant makes Yelp’s list of Top 100 in Florida for 2023
Yelp released its Top 100 Florida Restaurants list for 2023 list and one business in Daytona Beach has made the roster.
The Red Bud Café in Daytona Beach landed at No. 32. The popular crowd-sourced review site noted how the family-run cafe creates dishes fusing cuisines from their native Yugoslavia along with Italy, Australia and the U.S.
Some of Red Bud's best dishes include the avocado toast made of crunchy Italian bread sliced thinly and grilled and topped with finely cut avocados, tomatoes, and, chimichurri; and the crepes, which are huge yet light and stuffed with turkey, scrambled eggs, cheese and sauteed onions and peppers (or anything you want). The delicate but packed crepe is a perfect dish for those looking for an alternative to a comfort-style breakfast.

Yelp released its first-ever Top 100 restaurants in Florida list in 2022 and multiple Volusia and Flagler restaurants made the cut. The 2022 list included Red Bud at No. 13, Millie's Restaurant and Catering in Daytona Beach at No. 71 with locally sourced food being their staple, Santorini in DeLand held No. 87 serving authentic Greek cuisine, and then rounding out the list at No. 100 was La Crèperie Kafè, the family-owned Palm Coast restaurant specializing in French cuisine.

Yelp noted that they "identified businesses in the restaurant's category, then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews between Jan. 1, 2022, and Jan. 1, 2023. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of Jan. 9, 2023."
