Only small shortage of poll workers in Wisconsin

Wisconsin's top elections official says no more than 400 National Guard troops will be needed at the polls next week as coronavirus cases surge. Meagan Wolfe said Thursday that she expects there will be few gaps to fill on Election Day. (Oct. 29)

MEAGAN WOLFE: We are finding that a lot of our local election officials are reporting not just having enough poll workers, but having enough in the event of an emergency, so we continue to see less than a need of 200 statewide. Now, that list that we post on [? MyVote, ?] that does change every day.

The governor has authorized us to utilize up to 400 National Guard service members in the event that there is any sort of shortage around the state.
