A pardon could be a Stone's throw away
First, did you get the joke? "Stone's throw away," because Roger Stone is a Trump ally and Trump might pardon... nevermind.
Anywho.
Stone, a longtime friend and ally of President Donald Trump, was sentenced Thursday to 40 months in prison. But the attention immediately turned to the possibility of Trump issuing a pardon.
Trump said he will not immediately pardon Stone but will instead “let the process play out” in the courts.
