Ontario County Public Health: 212 confirmed COVID-19 cases Tuesday

HOPEWELL -- Ontario County Public Health is reporting 212 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday.

Of them, 48 were people under 18 and 87 recoveries were documented, health officials said.

A cumulative 776 positive home tests have been reported with 262 Monday and Tuesday. The home tests are not lab confirmed and are separate from the confirmed tests, health officials said.

Forty people are in the hospital and 1,286 people are in mandatory isolation and quarantine.

Since the start of the pandemic, 14,919 cases have been reported; 154 people have died and 13,649 people have recovered.
