Ontario County Public Health: 47 new COVID-19 cases Monday

HOPEWELL -- Ontario County Public Health is reporting 47 new COVID-19 cases Monday.

Six of the new cases involved people under the age of 18, and 105 recoveries were documented, health officials said.

Since the start of the pandemic, 13,735 Ontario County residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19; 144 people have died and 13,065 people have recovered.

Ontario County remains in the High category for COVID-19 transmission, which is the highest level, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
