Ontario County Public Health: 74 COVID-19 cases Sunday

HOPEWELL -- Ontario County Public Health is reporting 74 COVID-19 cases Jan. 23.

Of the cases, 10 involved children. Health officials said 50 people were in the hospital and there were 365 negative tests.

Health said 47 positive home tests were reported for a total of 2,431.

Since the start of the pandemic, 18,400 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 166 people have died.

Ontario County Public Health has scheduled COVID-19 booster vaccination clinics for Jan. 26 and 27.

Walk-thru Moderna and Pfizer booster clinics will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Bristol Field House at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva. To register, visit shorturl.at/fioGP.

A drive-thru Moderna booster clinic for those 18 and older is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Ontario County Highway Office, 2930 County Road 48, Hopewell. To register, visit shorturl.at/boGQ1.

A drive thru Pfizer booster clinic for those 12 and older also is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Ontario County Highway Office. To register, visit shorturl.at/psvyV.
