Ontario's Frankhouse, Petit, Lexington's Bammann voted MNJ Athletes of the Week

The Ontario doubles team of Aiden Frankhouse and Hunter Petit and Lexington's Jillian Bammann were voted the Mansfield News Journal Athletes of the Week.
Frankhouse and Petit earned a nomination after they won 2-6, 7-5, 6-2 in second doubles against Shelby to help the Warriors take the team victory. They collected 9,257 votes for the week.
Lucas’ Hunter Rice, Madison’s Cayden Clapper, Lucas’ Grant Barrett and Colin Arnold, Ontario’s Peyton Duzgan, Mansfield Christian’s Landon Curtis, Shelby’s Jeremy Holloway, Clear Fork’s Jared Scott, Mansfield Senior’s Malaki Stanfield, Crestview’s Jarek Ringler, Plymouth’s Zeth Goth and Lexington’s No. 2 doubles team of Ryan Mecurio and Ross Drlik all earned nominations for their efforts.
There were 19,426 votes tallied.
Bammann earned a nomination after she tossed a five-inning perfect game in a 23-0 win over Mansfield Senior with eight strikeouts and also collected two 2-1 wins over River Valley. She earned 13,085 votes for the week.
South Central’s Maddy Prater, Lucas’ Shelby Grover, Clear Fork’s Alyssa Swank, Shelby’s Sadie Smith, Madison’s Olivia Schulz, Ontario’s Trista Jewell, Crestview’s Mary Leeper, Lexington’s 4x200 relay of Emily and Sarah Thomas, Makenna Arnholt and Lauren Alexander and Plymouth’s Emily Irven all earned nominations for their efforts.
There were 27,532 votes tallied for the week.
