Ontelaunee Township church celebrates stained glass windows [Religion Digest]

Jan. 21----St. John's Gernant's Church (A Federated Congregation), 13 Gernant's Road, Ontelaunee Township, will worship Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. Musician for the service will be Shirley Breininger. An open house will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the installation of the stained glass windows. Historians will be available to answer questions about the history of the church and the windows; and a self-guided tour of the windows to learn more of the theology and history of the windows is available.

—St. Michael's Church, 529 St. Michaels Road, Tilden Township, will worship Sunday at 10:15 a.m. Congregation council members will be installed.

—Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Washington Township, will worship Sunday at 9 a.m. Council will be installed during the service. Coffee & Conversation will be held at 8:30 and 10 in the Welcome Center. Confirmation class will practice for Youth Sunday at 10 in the sanctuary. The adult Sunday school class will gather in the parlor at 10.

—Bausman United Church of Christ, 1064 Penn Ave., Wyomissing is having a homemade soup sale Feb. 1-4 featuring chicken noodle, chicken corn noodle, vegetable beef, Italian wedding soups and turkey chili. —Reformation Lutheran Church, 3670 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township, will worship Sunday at 8:30 a.m., with Holy Communion, and at 10 a.m., with Holy Communion and the Reformation Choir, under the direction of Dr. Heidi Rochlin.
