'OORRRDEERR!' Pelosi Channels Bercow While Discussing Good Friday Agreement in London
Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, channeled her House of Commons counterpart, John Bercow, while discussing the Good Friday Agreement at the London School of Economics and Political Science on Monday, April 15.
“We’ve met with the speaker – we’ve learned how to say… come on guys!” said Pelosi, gesturing to members of the audience, who respond, “OOORDDEERR!”
Pelosi said she and her delegation had met with both the government and opposition parties to discuss Brexit. Pelosi said any “harm” to the Good Friday Agreement would mean the US would not enter into a trade agreement with the UK.
