At most, you need reservations and at some places seating is limited, so don't wait.
Reservations aren't your thing? Restaurants like Denny's, Applebees, Buffalo Wild Wings, Boston Market and IHOP will be open to walk-ins.
Here's a few local spots to check out for Christmas dinner or lunch:
Pineville Tavern, Buckingham
The Pineville Tavern will have a special Christmas menu, featuring Prime Rib Queen Cut, the Million $ Bacon Burger, Maple Mustard Glazed Ham and more.
Reservations are required and are available online from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Washington Crossing Inn, Upper Makefield
Step back into history for Christmas with the inn's Christmas Eve and Christmas Day buffets. The Dec. 24 buffet runs from 3 to 7 p.m., while Christmas Day meal will be offered from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Christmas Day menu includes an omelet stations, craving stations, smoked fish and a raw bar along with main dishes of Canadian Salmon Filet with Lemon and Capers, Chicken Marsala, Shrimp Scampi with Penne & Garlic Sauce, Rigatoni with Prosciutto Vodka Sauce and Flank Steak (after 4p.m). The dessert table will be filled too with cakes and pies.
Reservations are now being taken. Both buffets are $55 per adult and $30 per child.

Buona Via Ristorante, Horsham
This Italian seafood and grill restaurant will be open for the holidays with seatings on Christmas Day from 1 to 7 p.m. Reservations are required. The regular menu, plus a special, will be available.

The steakhouse is open Christmas Eve from 4 to 8 p.m. and Christmas Day for a Churrasco Feast, plus naBrasa will add a ham carving station, stuffing and traditional Christmas trimmings. Reservations can be made online as seating is limited.

Steak 48 in Center City will be open for the holidays to serve upscale classic and creative steakhouse fare. It will be open both Christmas Eve and Christmas day from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Guests can enjoy the restaurant’s signature offerings – a variety of prime steaks, fresh raw bar and seafood options, creative appetizers, hearty sides and indulgent desserts.

The Wayward, Philadelphia
The Wayward located in the East Market neighborhood in the Canopy Hotel will be open on Christmas Eve and day with a special pre-fixed holiday menu at $65 per person. It will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. and open for Christmas brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Menu options include Cast Iron Roasted Whole Branzino, Brick Oven Roasted Cornish Hen, butternut squash soup and sweet potato creme brulee.
Revolution Chop House, King of Prussia
Revolution Chop House, located at Valley Forge Casino Resort, will be open on Christmas Eve and day, featuring holiday specials in addition to their standard classic American steakhouse offerings. Open 4-8 p.m. Dec. 24 and 5 - 10 p.m. Dec. 25.
Enjoy seasonal holiday special menu items including Potato Leek Soup Roast Prime Rib, and Peppermint Hot Chocolate Bread Pudding, plus additional steakhouse options.
