MILFORD, MA — If you didn't already know, New Year's Day in 2022 falls on a Saturday, which means many services — like schools and government offices — wouldn't be open even without the holiday.

But the holiday will still affect the hours of some services, including libraries, transit and the postal service. Here's an overview of what's open and closed on New Year's Day in Milford in 2022:

Milford Public Library

  • Closed Dec. 31, Jan. 1 and Jan. 2.

U.S. Mail

  • No post offices open and no delivery on New Year's Day.

MetroWest Regional Transit Authority
