SBCSS provides three-hour early education classes offered on weekdays with both morning and afternoon sessions.

These preschool programs provide students with 180 days of services to ensure children receive early and specialized support to prepare them to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.

SBCSS-operated preschool programs include an enhanced curriculum with Footsteps2Brilliance and Clever Kids University to provide opportunities for students to engage in literacy activities.

Clever Kids University is the family edition of Footsteps2Brilliance, the early learning curriculum used by the most innovative school districts throughout the US. Clever Kids’ uses a game-based methodology to engage children and their parents.

In addition to including meals and snack options for students during their classes, SBCSS encourages the importance of eating healthy and staying active through the Healthy SBCSS Nutrition program.
