Open enrollment for insurance begins in November

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Open enrollment for 2024 insurance plans begins November 1.

Shopping for insurance can be overwhelming, especially when Mesa County has 45 different individual insurance plans available. But Connect for Health Colorado has a plan finder tool to help you decide.

Connect for Health Colorado is a marketplace for insurance, and its plan finder allows you to compare available plans and decide which one is best for your healthcare and budget needs.

If cost is a concern, cost share reductions and tax credits are available for certain plans through Connect for Health Colorado if your income qualifies.

Open enrollment starts November 1 and ends January 15. In order to ensure coverage by January 1, you need to enroll by December 15. Otherwise, your coverage will start on February 1.
