METAMORA - Terroir 3:17, a Mediterranean restaurant in Metamora, is closing after less than nine months in business.

The business announced on Facebook that they will close permanently at 7:30 p.m. March 1:

"The winter months affected us in a very negative way, more than we anticipated, leading us to this difficult decision of having to close the restaurant permanently. This has not been an easy decision for us as we have enjoyed serving the Metamora community and the communities of the surrounding cities, namely, Germantown Hills, Washington, East Peoria, Eureka, Roanoke and other small towns. We are so thankful for many of you becoming weekly and bi-weekly regulars! It was such a privilege and joy to meet so many wonderful people! Thank you so much for your patronage and support!"

The business, which is located at 128 N. Davenport Street, Metamora, opened June 19, 2023.
