Happy Opening Day, Cincinnati!

Baseball fans lined downtown streets Thursday to watch the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade, and they will head to Great American Ball Park this afternoon to attend the Cincinnati Reds' home opener.

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Skyline Chili, the Cincinnati Bengals and more joined in on the fun on Twitter.

Charleston men's basketball coach Pat Kelsey reacts to Opening Day

The College of Charleston men's basketball coach Pat Kelsey tweeted about the Reds on Thursday. Kelsey is a former Elder High School standout who also coached and played for the Xavier Musketeers.

"Baseball is in the minds & hearts of the people of Cincinnati," he wrote. "Generations of my family have been passionate Reds fans. Opening day is a holiday. The 162 game schedule is special to me. Consistent. There is always tomorrow. I always look forward to next one. Hope springs eternal."
