Openings available on Clovis boards and committees

Feb. 7—The City of Clovis is seeking a representative from District 4, a representative from a Bank/Finance/Accountant and a representative of the County to serve on the Economic Incentive Board (EIB). The EIB meets quarterly to make recommendations regarding economic development programs and prospects to the Clovis city commission.

The City of Clovis is also seeking one representative from an operator of industries primarily serving tourists to serve on the Lodger's Tax Advisory Board. The Lodger's Tax Advisory Board meets every other month.

The City of Clovis is also seeking one representative from District 3 to serve on the Public Works Committee. The committee meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month.

The City of Clovis is also seeking one citizen representative to serve on the Water Policy Advisory Committee. The committee meets quarterly to make recommendations to the city commission regarding water related matters including conservation.

The City of Clovis is seeking applications for four representatives to serve on the Civil Aviation Board. The board meets quarterly and makes recommendations to the Clovis city commission regarding expansions, improvements, facilities and policies governing the operation of the airport.
