The Enquirer's opinion editor, Kevin S. Aldridge, and his wife Nichole will appear on the Red Table Talk show with Jada Pinkett Smith today. The Aldridges will discuss Nichole's journey dealing with alopecia, an autoimmune disease that can cause hair loss. You can watch the video here.

Pinkett Smith, who hosts Red Table Talk along with her daughter Willow and mother Gammy, is doing a three-day series about alopecia and the men, women and children affected by it. The topic was thrust into the headlines after Academy Award-winning actor Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock at this year's Oscars when he made a joke about Pinkett Smith's short haircut by referencing the movie "G.I. Jane." Pinkett Smith also suffers from alopecia.

More: My wife has alopecia. I've dried her tears, affirmed her beauty and used only my words to support her

Aldridge wrote a column about his wife's struggles with alopecia in the wake of the Oscars controversy that gained national attention. Pinkett Smith and her producers reached out to the couple in early May and asked them to appear on the show and share their story.

Their segment is currently posted on the Red Table Talk Facebook page.
