MIAMI (AP) _ Opko Health Inc. (OPK) on Tuesday reported a loss of $62 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Miami-based company said it had a loss of 11 cents.

The holding company with investments in pharmaceutical and diagnostics companies posted revenue of $228.8 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $1.56. A year ago, they were trading at $3.55.
